Additional information:
Sola Upper Secondary School is a multicultural School with students from approximately 25 countries. Many of these students have arrived our country fairly recently. The school has a clear focus on this group of students. Recently we have joined two projects: "Youth and Migration" and a pilot project to map and develop good models for education of youth with scarse schooling and a short stay in Norway.
We also participate in a regional network of schools in the three Norwegian counties of Rogaland, Hordaland and Vest-Agder where education is offered to this kind of students. The cooperation in this network has lasted for some years, and is still active with minimun two meetings per year.
There are also plans to apply for a Comenius 1 project at our school, "Unity through Contrasts".
We are now happy to join in the network LearningMigration.
