The project, which the present author is leader of, aims at involving parents in general, and immigrant parents in particular, in the education of their children through the work of a parent-teacher association. A further and related aim is to enhance the social capital of parents of foreign background through their active participation in the work of this parent-teacher association and the networks of contacts this creates.
