JOINT MASTER IN MIGRATION AND INTERCULTURAL RELATIONS

Welcome to the website for the Joint Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations. This website is designed to guide and assist prospective students wishing to apply for the programme and will also serve as a resource for students enrolled in the joint master in Migration and Intercultural Relations.

The Joint Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations is an inter-disciplinary and transcultural programme jointly developed by the University of Stavanger in Norway, the University of Oldenburg in Germany, the Portuguese Open University in Portugal and The University of Nova Gorica in Slovenia. The course has been developed with support from the European Commission's Curriculum Development Programme, part of the Erasmus programme of the Department of Education and Culture. The programme has been successfully accredited in Norway and Slovenia and is in the final stages of accreditation in Germany and Portugal.

Our first batch of students will be admitted to the MA programme in October 2006. Upon successful completion of the masters programme, students will be awarded a joint degree, issued by all partner institutions. The study programme will be taught in English.
